Then he was conned into endorsing them, and he wasn’t sure if this would ruin his reputation for letting the trouble maker in the runnings.
So he finally met with the little delinquent and gave them a Pokémon, albeit a bit hesitantly. Tons of people looked up to him, so perhaps he could try to be a role model for the small kid? Initially, Leon hated the idea, “Give the trouble maker a POWERFUL CREATURE?” But eventually came around to it. Piers had been the one to suggest maybe getting them some Pokémon and steer them in the right direction like Leon usually did. They used to run with TEAM SKULL, sure he didn’t know much about it, but the name itself didn’t sound right. Raihan tried to calm him down, saying, “I used to be considered a delinquent as a child.” But Leon wasn’t having it. He even consulted Raihan about how worried he was about this little…delinquent that was his little brother’s new best friend. Leon was immediately worried about Hop’s new friend as the boy was very easy to influence. Then he discovered the child moved there because they used to run with delinquents over in the Alola region, and their mother was tired and sent them to a small and boring town. 
Leon knew the town they grew up in could be small and annoying, so knowing Hop would have a new friend was a good thing.At first, when Leon discovered that their neighbor had her sister’s child moving in and they were around Hop’s age, he was excited.I wanted to write and my mind was like “How bout no.” So I did the thing anyways. Just got off a busy nine hour shift at work after replacing my car battery early morning so I was halfway brain dead doing this.
I hope that’s alright either way, it’s mainly focused on Leon! Also, apologies for bad grammar. I ended up changing it from Hop’s S/O to his friend as I’m not comfortable writing stuff for the kids being in relationships.
